About The Position
As part of the YMCA's Camp/Clinic Staff, you will help youth prepare for success in sports by assisting with sport camps and clinics. You will interact with and supervise youth, providing role modeling and mentoring through demonstrations and participation in sport activities. You will also communicate with parents and guardians about youth achievements and concerns. Youth Sports team members help kids find success in sports, stay physically active, and build positive self-esteem and a sense of self-worth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with leading sport camps and clinics.
- Interact with and supervise youth.
- Provide role modeling and mentoring by demonstrating and participating in sport activities.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss achievements and concerns.
