About The Position
Soccer Shots is the nation's premier children's soccer program, providing engaging 35–40 minute soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 at schools, childcare centers, parks, and community locations. We operate year-round, with programs offered during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
Requirements
- Live in the Peoria area
- Can coach weekday mornings from 8:30–11:30 AM
- Can begin training within 14 days of the interview
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Reliable and punctual
- Great with young children
- Organized and professional
- Comfortable leading groups
- Comfortable being active outdoors
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to stand, run, and demonstrate basic soccer skills
Responsibilities
- Lead 35–40 minute soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 using the Soccer Shots curriculum.
- Make soccer fun and exciting.
- Build confidence and character.
- Teach basic soccer skills through engaging activities.
- Create positive experiences for every child.
- Build relationships with teachers and families.
- Set up and pack away equipment.
- Arrive on time and follow safety procedures.
- Bring plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and high-fives!
