Youth Soccer Coach
About The Position
i9 Sports is hiring SOCCER staff for their SATURDAY (ONLY) soccer program for children ages 3-10. The typical day is from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. i9 Sports offers recreational youth sports in St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties, focusing on fun and sportsmanship for children, and convenience and organization for adults. i9 Sports is the nation's largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs. They offer youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for kids ages 3 and up in popular sports like flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. Their mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports by providing a unique youth sports experience that teaches the importance of good sportsmanship. They are committed to age-appropriate instruction, making sports fun for kids, and convenient for families.
Requirements
- Must understand basic rules (expert knowledge not required)
- Must have transportation, cell phone and email access
- Extremely reliable, responsible and organized
- Energetic
- Good ability to relate to parents and players (children as young as 3)
- Clean Background Check
- Ability to work every SATURDAY during our 8 week season
Responsibilities
- Help coaches run practices before games
- Officiate/REF during game-time
- Assist with volunteer coaches and players
- Communicate with participants and parents throughout the season
