About The Position

The purpose of this internship is to provide the intern with a broad training experience in several operational and administrative areas of the Soccer Shots JOCOKS franchise. Interns will experience the rewards and rigors of an entry-level position, with specific processes including program development, marketing/advertising, inventory control, on-field coaching, and office management. Soccer Shots is an international franchise focused on delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate soccer and character development for children aged 18 months to 8 years. Founded by former professional soccer players, the curriculum is designed by childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced coaches to build character, confidence, and soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, and positive environment. The company is a leading children's fitness franchise recognized for its trained and certified coaches and commitment to positively impacting children's lives through soccer.

Requirements

Strong organization and communication skills.
Motivated, with an ability to be self-directed as well as work collaboratively.
Strong background from participating, planning, or working within the sports environment.
Previous experience working with youth and adults.
Ability to work and understand the needs of a diverse population.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
No minimum credit requirement.

Nice To Haves

Level 1 coach certification.
Level 2 coach certification.
Level 2 Coach + Trainer certification.

Responsibilities

Provide on-field coaching to children.
Assist with program development.
Support marketing and advertising efforts.
Help with inventory control.
Engage in office management tasks.
Participate in leadership development, communication skills, early childhood education, and sports management training.
