About The Position

We're looking for a Youth Development Professional to help create a safe and welcoming environment where youth feel seen and supported. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can bring positive energy throughout the day, and understands that the small interactions often matter the most. You'll help supervise activities, support homework time, lead games and group projects, and help create a safe and welcoming environment where youth feel seen and supported. Some moments are energetic and loud, others quieter and relationship-focused, but all of them help build trust and belonging. We're looking for someone dependable, adaptable, and comfortable jumping into whatever the day brings. If you can stay positive, work well with a team, and connect with youth in meaningful ways, you'll do well in this role.

Requirements

  • Meeting Washington State requirements for licensed childcare, including completing background checks, required training, and health documentation such as a TB test and proof of MMR vaccination or immunity.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Staff working with middle school youth must be at least 21 years old.
  • Staff working with high school youth must be at least 23 years old.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with youth is helpful, but what matters most is your ability to connect, stay flexible, and consistently show up for kids.
