The Youth Development Professional plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates activities provided within the Club. This role focuses on creating an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes, ensuring youth engagement and consistent attendance. The professional will establish rapport with youth, providing mentoring, guidance, and role modeling for their leadership development, artistic skills, physical activity engagement, and academic progress. Key responsibilities include implementing and administering programs, monitoring for safety and quality, supporting emotional and social development, planning engaging activities, and submitting administrative duties like lesson plans and attendance sheets. Participation in training, staff development, and club staff meetings is also expected to ensure a productive work environment. Daily contact with staff, members, and supervisors is necessary for information exchange, problem-solving, and guidance. A mandatory part of the role includes daily cleaning and closing of the program area.
