About The Position

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can bring positive energy throughout the day, and understands that the small interactions often matter the most. You'll help supervise activities, support homework time, lead games and group projects, and help create a safe and welcoming environment where youth feel seen and supported. Some moments are energetic and loud, others quieter and relationship-focused, but all of them help build trust and belonging.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Staff working with middle school youth must be at least 21 years old
• Staff working with high school youth must be at least 23 years old
• Meeting Washington State requirements for licensed childcare, including completing background checks, required training, and health documentation such as a TB test and proof of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Dependable
• Adaptable
• Comfortable jumping into whatever the day brings
• Ability to stay positive
• Ability to work well with a team
• Ability to connect with youth in meaningful ways
