About The Position

CCAR is looking for a full-time Young People and Family Services Manager to coordinate and manage young people and family support services across all CCAR Recovery Community Centers. The ideal person will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized, and passionate about working closely with people in recovery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in a management capacity.
  • Experience in outreach, networking, and promotion.
  • Ability to collaborate with community partners.
  • Knowledge about the addiction recovery process and advocacy.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Understanding and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with varied and demanding tasks.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including database management, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations.
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
  • A cover letter highlighting your interest and experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing young people and family services in all CCAR Recovery Community Centers (RCC) while working closely with RCC staff.
  • Responsible for recruiting and engaging young people and families through program outreach and community events.
  • Responsible for enrolling and engaging a minimum of 50 individuals in the 18–30 age group through Telephone Recovery Support (TRS).
  • Responsible for enrolling and engaging a minimum of 20 individuals in the 18-30 age group through CCAR training curriculum.
  • Facilitate separate peer recovery support meetings for young people and family members.
  • Provide recovery coaching to young people and family members
  • Maintain a network of resources/supports for young people and families
  • Engage in advocacy efforts in local and statewide initiatives where the voice of young people and/or family members is needed.
  • Maintain pertinent and accurate data and timely report submissions.
  • Travel required.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational needs and priorities.
