About The Position

This role involves monitoring process operations to ensure conformance to quality standards and engineering specifications. The technician will assist in troubleshooting complex process, quality, and yield problems. They will be responsible for providing innovative, real-time solutions to operational issues to maintain manufacturing requirements and the highest level of quality. The position requires strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills, with an aptitude and desire to learn new skills. The technician will also be involved in planning, executing, analyzing, and delivering projects, as well as training and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to produce results in a timely manner.
Strong data analysis ability, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
Aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
Strong verbal and written communication, including the writing of specifications and OCAPs.
Proficient in WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, PROMIS and Datalog.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic statistics, SPC and FDC is preferred, but not required.
Self-starter and high level of personal energy desired.
Understanding Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals and concepts.
Obtain tool certifications to support running wafers to meet defectivity and cycle time requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor process operations to assure conformance to quality standards and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot complex process, quality, and yield problems.
Provide innovative, real-time, quick response, and solutions to operational issues to help maintain manufacturing requirements while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Utilize logical and objective data analysis to establish and track metrics to meet objectives.
Participate on task force teams across departments and divisions.
Train, mentor, develop, and lead cell leads/associates/junior technicians.
Successfully plan, execute, analyze, and deliver projects per schedule.
Check the Yield Rule report often to review YE inventory, priority lots, timer lots and DWRs.
Set appropriate priorities in the bay, i.e. Avoid Tool downs for other areas, Escalate critical lots.
Communicate to various levels of the organization (engineering teams, management, process technicians in other areas).
Write recipes on inspection and SEM tools.
Disposition OOC lots.
