About The Position

This role involves monitoring process operations to ensure quality standards and engineering specifications are met. The technician will troubleshoot complex process, quality, and yield problems, providing innovative and timely solutions to operational issues. Key responsibilities include data analysis, project management, and training/mentoring junior staff. The position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, with an aptitude for learning new skills and adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements

  • Physically capable of standing for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to produce results in a timely manner.
  • Strong data analysis ability, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including the writing of specifications and OCAPs.
  • Proficient in WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, PROMIS and Datalog.
  • Understanding Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals and concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of basic statistics, SPC and FDC is preferred, but not required.
  • Self-starter and high level of personal energy desired.
  • Obtain tool certifications to support running wafers to meet defectivity and cycle time requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor process operations to assure conformance to quality standards and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot complex process, quality & yield problems.
  • Provide innovative, real time, quick response, and solutions to operational issues to help maintain manufacturing requirements while maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Utilize logical and objective data analysis to establish and track metrics to meet objectives.
  • Participate on task force teams across departments and divisions.
  • Train, mentor, develop, and lead cell leads/associates/junior technicians.
  • Successfully plan, execute, analyze and deliver projects per schedule.
  • Check the Yield Rule report often to review YE inventory, priority lots, timer lots and DWRs.
  • Set appropriate priorities in the bay, i.e. Avoid Tool downs for other areas, Escalate critical lots.
  • Communicate to various levels of the organization (engineering teams, management, process technicians in other areas).
  • Write recipes on inspection and SEM tools.
  • Disposition OOC lots.
