About The Position

Goldfarb Properties is seeking an ambitious and creative Yardi Systems Administrator to join their IT team. The primary responsibility will be to keep the Yardi environment stable, oversee enhancements and upgrades, and provide technical support to users. This is an in-office position, Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Yardi environment, working with ownership and department heads to implement functional requirements, and collaborating with Yardi experts and outside consultants. The company considers the implementation and continued enhancements of the Yardi environment critically important to their business. While Yardi administration is the primary focus, the administrator will also collaborate and support other IT areas, delegating day-to-day user needs to the help desk where possible.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience administering a Yardi environment, or similar Real Estate ERP (RealPage, MRI, Entrada).
  • Solid understanding of the Real Estate industry’s business operations.
  • Comfortable working with a small team of talented IT professionals.
  • Natural ability to take ownership, act with a sense of urgency and accept challenges.
  • Minimum of 5 years Yardi (or similar platform) experience in a lead technical role.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an IT related field.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7s and 8 (or similar platform), including modules like P2P, Construction, Rent café.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience with real estate accounting, including accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Champions the use of Yardi as the primary ERP.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical application issues related to the Yardi SAAS environment, including modules like Voyager, Elevate, Rent Cafe, CRM, Advanced Maintenance, Maintenance IQ, Commercial, PayScan, Concierge, job cost, Commercial Edge, and the legal module.
  • Performs System Administration, including user management/access setup, menu configuration, and security management.
  • Uses SQL and SQL scripting for issue/problem resolution or escalation.
  • Manages Third Party Yardi Consultants work queues and priorities.
  • Leads the maintenance and development of integrations between Yardi applications and other systems, products, and services.
  • Coordinates with relevant departments for testing and end-user training during significant system updates/upgrades.
  • Assists department heads in the creation and maintenance of custom reports.
  • Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Attends weekly customer success calls with Yardi.
  • Manages outside programmer's projects focused on custom reporting and maintaining/enhancing interfaces for Yardi interoperability.
  • Monitors the Help Desk, responding to and directing responses to incoming tickets from users.
  • Provides on-call emergency support (not a common occurrence).
