About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician for its rental facility in Monaca, Pennsylvania. The role helps keep the rental facility’s storage yard in good condition through maintenance and day-to-day facility tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. The role is subject to on-call scheduling, with additional compensation provided. The position includes laundering flame-resistant clothing, documenting incoming and outgoing laundry, maintaining equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures, and performing general yard and shop cleanup. The Yard Technician is also expected to maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace, represent EquipmentShare’s culture and customer-experience standards, and assist with other duties assigned by the General Manager. This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and this role requires passing a 10-panel drug screen. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard.

Requirements

Safety training is required, and PPE is required when applicable.
A valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and stoop.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting may be required.
Must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard.
Must pass a 10-panel drug screen; employment is also contingent on passing a background check.

Responsibilities

Launder flame-resistant clothing.
Document incoming and outgoing laundry.
Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
Perform general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards.
Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.
Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold its customer-experience standards.
Assist with various other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
