About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician at its rental facility in San Antonio, Texas, in Advanced Solutions. Yard Technicians help keep the rental facility’s storage yard in good condition by assisting with maintenance and everyday facility tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime pay is offered after 40 hours, and the role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and this role also requires passing a 10-panel drug screen. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be in an EquipmentShare yard.

Requirements

• Complete required safety training and use personal protective equipment when applicable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be in an EquipmentShare yard.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and stoop.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting may be required.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen.
• Employment is contingent on passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after use.
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
• Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain general yard and shop cleanliness in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace.
• Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold its customer experience standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
