About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician for its rental facility in Hobbs, New Mexico. The role helps keep the storage yard in good condition through equipment maintenance and the day-to-day tasks of a rental facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. The role is subject to on-call scheduling, with additional compensation provided.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and this role requires passing a 10-panel drug screen. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required safety training and personal protective equipment when applicable.
• Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard.
• Passing a 10-panel drug screen and background check is required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after use.
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
• Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
• Clean the general yard and shop according to company standards.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace.
• Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold its customer experience standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
