Doodie Calls is hiring a full-time, non-exempt Yard Technician in Atlanta, Georgia. The Yard Technician keeps the storage yard running by checking units in and out, cleaning and repairing them, and moving them with a forklift or telehandler so drivers can load out on time. This is hands-on outdoor work. The role includes checking in returning units and staging units for upcoming deliveries; pressure washing and sanitizing portable restrooms, trailers, and vehicles; making general repairs and reporting replacement needs; moving units safely around the yard; and maintaining clean, safe grounds. Cleaning may involve pressure washers, specialized chemicals, and vacuum hoses to pump out and sanitize units. Success means units are cleaned, restocked, repaired, and staged before drivers arrive; equipment is operated safely and checked daily; damaged units are promptly flagged; and units, walkways, and grounds remain organized and maintained. The position requires being on your feet much of the day, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working outdoors in heat, rain, and cold. A pre-employment fitness-for-duty exam confirms the ability to perform these tasks safely. Doodie Calls describes its workplace values as People Focused, Safety First, Integrity, Operational Excellence, and exceptional Customer Experience. The company provides uniforms and on-the-job training, with room to grow into a Lead Yard Technician or driver role. Hiring includes a phone screen, an interview with the local manager, an online offer, and completion of a drug and alcohol test, fitness exam, and background check before the start date is confirmed.
