About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician at its rental facility in Lebanon, Missouri. The role helps keep the storage yard in top condition by supporting equipment maintenance and the everyday tasks of a rental facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. The role is subject to on-call scheduling, with additional compensation provided.

The Yard Technician inspects and documents equipment, assists with routine maintenance and cleaning, demonstrates and handles equipment, maintains inventory records, and helps keep the yard and shop clean and safe. The position also supports the company’s customer experience standards and may assist with other duties assigned by the General Manager.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and this role requires passing a 10-panel drug screen. Employees must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard. The work may require outdoor exposure during extreme temperatures, as well as standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Safety training and use of PPE when applicable.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting may be required.
• Able to work outside during extreme temperatures and stand, sit, bend, and stoop.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be in the EquipmentShare yard.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen; employment is also contingent on passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
• Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.
• Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold its customer experience standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
