About The Position

Hanford Elementary School District is accepting applications for substitute, on-call Yard Supervisors. The role involves maintaining discipline and control of students participating in a variety of activities. Work is intermittent, for 1, 2, or 3.5 hours per day.

Applicants must complete the supplemental Yard Supervisor questions with their application. Substitute employees must complete Child Abuse Training to qualify for consideration as a substitute on-call employee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain discipline and control of students engaged in a variety of activities.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Observe groups of students and issue commands and directions as needed.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with people contacted in the course of work.
