About The Position

Under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and/or Yard Manager, the Yard Supervisor oversees day-to-day facility yard operations and supports yard staff in delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma.
• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics.
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
• Computer proficiency, including experience with MS Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to direct and train others effectively as a team member.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to delegate and prioritize.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train staff.
• Ability to differentiate colors.
• Inventory management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Schedule employees and manage time and attendance.
• Assist with security and loss prevention.
• Monitor productivity.
• Maintain a clean work environment and enforce safety awareness.
• Oversee vehicle loading.
• Handle employee and customer service issues.
• Maintain supply inventory and purchase supplies.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Be able to perform all job tasks for supervised positions.
• Travel as needed.
• Maintain confidential information and documentation.
• Address mechanical issues on the lots.
• Manage the fleet and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain the yard fence.
• Maintain the facility and yard.
• Answer alarm calls as needed.
