About The Position
The Yard Supervisor oversees the productivity and daily operations of the pipe yard, ensuring employees work efficiently and safely and that equipment is operating properly and meets applicable standards. The role includes managing yard personnel, inventory, and the loading process, and operating equipment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or college education.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Nice To Haves
- PVF experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all yard operations.
- Record receipt of material into Titan.
- Supervise direct reports in their daily tasks.
- Handle personnel issues.
- Approve timesheets for payroll processing.
- Supervise trucks being loaded.
- Coordinate loading with customers and truck drivers.
- Load and unload inventory onto flatbeds.
- Organize all pipe inventory in the branch yard.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and TPS company standards.
