About The Position
The Yard Spotter will move materials around the yard per manager/supervisor direction. It will be the Yard Spotter’s responsibility to move material in a safe manner to keep materials in an organized manner.
Requirements
- CDL preferred
- Good MVR
- Ability to drive 18-wheeler truck around property
- Flexibility for overtime; 10+ hours; Saturdays required
- Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- A minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Move material and trailers around yard using 45 – 53’ trailer
- Navigate safely in a congested yard
- Load and transport skids containing stainless or carbon steel pipe
- Strap loads when needed
- Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
- Good communication skills
- Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
