About The Position

The Yard Loader Operator works in the Aggregates line of business and safely operates a front-end loader to load customer trucks with aggregate products. The role includes inspecting equipment, managing stockpiles and loading areas, serving customers, and supporting safe and environmentally compliant quarry operations. The position is on the night shift.

Requirements

• Commitment to safety and ability to consistently follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate heavy mobile equipment in a quarry environment.
• Strong attention to detail when loading products, inspecting equipment, and completing operational tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to adapt to changing production and shipping priorities.
• Must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable company employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to load customer trucks with aggregate products accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment daily, identify maintenance needs, and report issues.
• Manage stockpiles and loading areas to support product quality, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
• Verify customer orders, communicate with drivers, and maintain safe traffic flow.
• Support site housekeeping, safety initiatives, and environmental compliance throughout the quarry.
