About The Position

Move trailers to and from dock doors based on instructions from supervisors or the shipping office while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure trailers are clean and adequately fueled. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with flexibility to work weekends if needed. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

Check and set trailer and yard temperature; add fuel if needed.
Perform daily inspections on the spotter truck and equipment.
Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles and equipment.
Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel.
Communicate with appropriate departments about daily trailer movements.
Check trailer inventory and report irregularities on log forms.
Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.
Move trailers to and from dock doors according to instructions while following safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain trailer cleanliness and adequate fueling.
