About The Position
Terzo Enterprises is hiring a Yard Hostler to move and spot equipment to support warehouse operations and the organization and processing of materials for shipment or storage. The role includes trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and conducting daily inspections. The position is on-site and involves driving a hostler truck. A CDL is not required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Shuttle loaded trailers to the facility and return with empty trailers to be reloaded.
- Move trailers of shells and return the empty trailers to be loaded.
- Place empty trailers in the appropriate docks for loading.
- Ensure trailers placed in docks are properly locked.
- Maintain the flow of loaded trailers by removing them from docks and replacing them with empty trailers so loading is not slowed.
- Conduct yard checks as needed to track trailer inventory.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Sanitize trailers, move equipment, and conduct daily inspections.
