About The Position

The Yard Coordinator at Coates Belmont is responsible for the day-to-day presentation, organisation and movement of equipment throughout the yard, helping ensure safe, efficient and customer-ready operations. This is a key operational role in a high-traffic yard environment, working Monday to Friday. The role also involves providing a high level of customer service and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Current forklift licence.
• EWP licence.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience working around mobile equipment.
• Experience loading and unloading equipment.
• Strong knowledge of load restraint practices.
• A proactive approach to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a busy operational environment.
• Genuine interest in building a stable, long-term career with Coates.

Responsibilities

• Organise and maintain yard layout, workflow and cleanliness.
• Support the safe movement, loading and unloading of equipment.
• Ensure equipment is presented, stored and prepared to company standards.
• Demonstrate safe work practices around equipment, vehicles and transport movements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and transport contractors.
• Identify equipment or items that require attention or repair.
