About The Position

Join our Team at Spruce View Farm Centre. Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Are you detail-oriented with a hands-on approach? If so, Spruce View Farm Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team at the Spruce View Farm Centre as a part-time Yard Attendant. This is a part-time position with 24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. Availability required for weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Highly self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
• Experience running a forklift is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
• Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
• Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
