About The Position
Join our Team at Eckville Food Store! Eckville Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a part-time Bakery/Deli Clerk to join our dynamic team.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with food preparation is an asset; however, training is available
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Package and label products for sale
- Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens
- Assist in production as directed by bakers
- Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, special trays, etc.
- Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed
- Assist in setting up products for the following day
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
