About The Position

Join our Team at Eckville Food Store! Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Eckville Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a Food Cashier to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position with 24-36 hours per week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider. Availability includes weekdays and weekends, with shifts in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to customer questions
• Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
• Bag and assist with carrying out purchases
• Complete cash-up procedures
• Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
