About The Position

Master Halco is seeking a Yard Associate for its branch office. The role supports customer orders and warehouse and yard operations, including reviewing order documents, preparing and pulling products, loading and unloading trailers, and sorting and staging material. Daily work is approximately 70% forklift operation and 30% manual sorting and staging. The position works both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, and requires safe material handling and maintaining an organized, clean working environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday on day shift, with overtime as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Able to lift or move heavy materials weighing up to 60 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Sit-down forklift experience is highly desired.
• Experience with building materials.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents and prepare to pull products accurately for customers.
• Load and unload trailers using a forklift.
• Sort and stage materials in the yard.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Receive inbound materials and put them away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull and prepare orders and package them for shipment.
• Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
