About The Position

The Driver is an important first point of contact for hotel guests and contributes to their overall experience. The role assists arriving and departing guests with luggage and transportation, provides information about the hotel and local area, and uses guests’ names to make them feel welcome. The Driver helps guests get oriented to the hotel and lets them know they are available to assist with their needs. Daily duties include greeting guests, promoting hotel amenities and services, sharing local directions and suggestions for dining and entertainment, parking or retrieving guest vehicles, and transporting guests safely and promptly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL.
Ability to interact with hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner and fulfill requests in a timely manner.
Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand or sit, carry or lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months of related experience is preferred.
People-oriented interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide information about the property and local area, including directions and dining and entertainment suggestions.
Promote hotel amenities and services and represent the city to guests.
Park guest vehicles and/or retrieve valet-parked vehicles promptly and courteously.
Transport guests safely and in a timely manner.
Fulfill guest requests in a timely manner and interact politely and positively with guests and team members.
