About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and obtain diagnostic radiographs and digital images of designated areas of the body under the direction of a Radiologist and supervision of a departmental leader. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and contributes to patient care and imaging quality while supporting the clinical team in identifying rare and complex conditions. This is a full-time night-shift position scheduled 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and assigned holidays required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License from the Department of Health, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
