X-Ray Technologist - Full-Time | Nights - Columbia
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray equipment and obtain diagnostic radiographs and digital images of designated areas of the body. The work is performed under the direction of a Radiologist and the supervision of a departmental leader. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and contributes to patient care and imaging quality as part of a clinical team diagnosing complex conditions. This is a full-time night-shift position at Columbia, scheduled 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and assigned holidays required. The role requires on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License from the Department of Health, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
