X-ray Tech
About The Position
Perform all x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. This role involves bringing patients back to exam rooms, triaging patients, preparing exam rooms, restocking supplies, and powering up computers as needed. The X-ray Tech will also assist other team members and engage in friendly and professional patient communication. This includes answering and returning patient phone calls, providing patient education and handouts, escorting patients, making appointment/surgery reminder calls, responding to patient messages, and communicating test results under physician direction.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
- Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history
Responsibilities
