X-ray Tech
About The Position
Perform all x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. This role involves bringing patients back to exam rooms, triaging patients, preparing exam rooms, restocking supplies, and powering up computers as needed. The X-ray Tech will also assist other team members and travel locally to satellite offices as scheduled. A significant part of the role includes friendly and professional patient communication, which involves answering and returning phone calls, providing patient education and handouts, escorting patients, making appointment/surgery reminder calls, responding to patient messages, and communicating test results under physician direction.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent, highly motivated
- Exhibit initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history
Responsibilities
