About The Position

Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse primarily provides patient care and manages intake and discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients as scheduled. Depending on the Wound Care Center setup and assignment, the position may also serve as Case Manager for a group of patients. The role also performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The schedule is PRN, with varied shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Two or more years of experience as a clinical RN, including two years in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice, maintained throughout employment in the position.
• Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory and accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to explain complex technical terms in lay terms.
• Customer service and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Teaching skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to work with others and in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm in all situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Medical-surgical, home health, or wound care certification.
• Wound care experience.
• Clinic RN experience.

Responsibilities
