About The Position

Holy Angels Residential Facility is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its float pool. The LPN assists the Director of Nursing in administering healthcare services to residents. This is an as-needed position with 12-hour overnight shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. and day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. The listed salary is $28.00–$30.00, depending on experience. The listed benefits are for full-time eligible staff.

Requirements

• Maintain a current and valid LPN license according to the State of Louisiana.
• Maintain a current and valid driver’s license.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• LPN degree required.
• Must be able to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must complete a drug screen, criminal background check, and driver’s license check.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with Holy Angels’ standards and protocols.
• Measure, record, and monitor vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation.
• Report nursing care problems to the RN.
• Perform other duties as requested by the RN and/or Director of Nursing.
