Part-Time Wound Care Nurse - (RN or LPN)
About The Position
American Medical Group is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Part-Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide patient care at its Crestview, Destin, and Fort Walton Beach, Florida locations. The role involves collaborating closely with providers in a fast-paced clinical environment to deliver patient care. It is part-time, with a guaranteed minimum of two days per week and opportunities for additional hours based on patient volume and clinic needs. Travel between the clinic locations is required. Clinic hours are primarily on weekdays, with no weekends or on-call responsibilities. Pay is $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- At least one year of wound care experience.
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Wound Care Certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and document findings.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide wound care treatments and patient education.
- Manage daily patient schedules and clinic workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Assist with charge capture and billing documentation.
- Travel between assigned clinic locations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
