About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) at Riverside Village/East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation. This is a full-time leadership opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule and no call requirement. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff, use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, and contribute to a supportive and coordinated care environment. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
• Supportive presence and effective interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Manage medications proficiently.
