About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to provide wound care. Using the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes and works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit. The RN prioritizes nursing actions and accurately implements physician orders within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training is provided. The role includes educating and counseling patients and families about wound care.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions according to patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
