Wound Care RN - Part Time

About The Position

The Wound Care Center RN is an integral member of the Wound Care Center clinical team, providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with chronic or acute wound issues. Working with treating physicians, Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses, and other registered nurses, the RN provides direct patient care and oversees all aspects of patient care. Responsibilities may include educating patients and caregivers, contacting home health agencies, coordinating with durable medical equipment (DME) companies, and ensuring adequate supplies for treatment. The Wound Care RN also provides medical case management for Holy Redeemer Wound Care Center patients. The role is expected to be performed in alignment with Redeemer Health’s mission and values, including respect, compassion, justice, hospitality, a holistic approach, stewardship, and collaboration.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
BSN attained or to be attained within three years of hire.
Current BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Wound Care Certification preferred.
Wound care experience or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
