About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a Wound Care Nurse who is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Using the Nursing Process, the nurse plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The role provides routine care to sick or injured patients in conjunction with Registered Nurses and collaborates with other disciplines on the assigned unit. Ongoing training is provided, including for candidates new to wound care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends. This is a PRN position.

Requirements

• Valid LPN nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training is provided.
• Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
