About The Position

At RestorixHealth, the mission is to restore health and improve quality of life. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Floater provides routine care to sick or injured patients, working in conjunction with Registered Nurses and collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit. Using the Nursing Process, the LPN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The position includes ongoing training and is open to training in wound care. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends. This is a per-diem role.

Requirements

• Valid LPN nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
