About The Position

The Wound Care/Hyperbaric Clinic RN brings passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together. This full-time position is located at Texas Health Stephenville Wound Care, 725 North Graham St. Stephenville, TX 76401. The work hours are full-time, days, with variable hours between 8 AM-5 PM, Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays are required. Texas Health Stephenville has a long history of providing quality care and its Wound Care Program offers advanced therapies for wound healing, with physicians and registered nurses trained in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
• 1+ years as an RN required
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
• possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
• have basic computer skills using medical management application systems

Nice To Haves

• CWCN or CHRN – within 60 days preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process: assesses the patient, plans the care of the patient, intervenes as appropriate, evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
