About The Position

The Wound Care/Hyperbaric Clinic RN will deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessing the patient, planning the care, intervening as appropriate, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. This role will incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care and initiate action to meet patient and/or significant others' need for information. The RN will also maintain continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers. Texas Health Stephenville has a long history of providing quality care and offers advanced therapies for wound care. The hospital is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and has a cardiovascular rehabilitation program. Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
• 1+ years as an RN required
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
• Possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
• Have basic computer skills using medical management application systems

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• CWCN or CHRN – within 60 days preferred
• Wound care experience preferred
