About The Position

Journey Church, a growing church of 350 in Conway, New Hampshire, is seeking a Worship Pastor/Director to lead and develop its worship ministry. The role oversees planning and execution of the audio and visual elements for Sunday worship services and special services, and contributes to the ministry and community life of the church. The position requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.

The Worship Pastor/Director will work hands-on with project management, event planning, leadership development, and evaluation to support the long-term health of the ministry. They will also participate in weekly staff team meetings, contributing to planning, awareness, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, certification in ministry, or an equivalent.
• Some experience in worship ministry in a local church context.
• Vibrant relationship with Jesus.
• Collaborative approach and team mentality.
• Track record of consistency and reliability.
• Licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the worship team.
• Oversee planning and execution of audio and visual elements for Sunday worship services and special services.
• Recruit and train new worship team members.
• Organize weekly rehearsals.
• Select appropriate songs.
• Manage equipment used in worship.
• Apply project management, event planning, leadership development, and evaluation skills to support long-term ministry health.
• Participate in weekly staff team meetings and contribute to planning, awareness, and leadership development.
