About The Position

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Workstation Support Analyst for an on-site opportunity for candidates in Florence, SC. The candidate will provide onsite workstation and desktop support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues in an enterprise environment. The candidate will assist end users, resolve technical incidents, support workstation deployments, and help maintain reliable desktop computing services.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or two (2) years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of technical operations or workstation support experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and Windows operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and domain-based environments.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
  • Ability to document technical issues, resolutions, and support activities accurately.
  • Must be able to work onsite full-time in Florence, South Carolina.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise desktop and workstation environments.
  • Familiarity with workstation imaging, software deployments, and system updates.
  • Experience using IT service management or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and end-user software.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues, including VPN access.
  • Support user accounts and basic administration within Active Directory environments.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain workstation hardware and software.
  • Document troubleshooting activities, issue resolutions, and technical procedures while collaborating with internal IT teams.
  • Deliver responsive customer support while ensuring timely resolution of technical incidents.
