You will play a crucial role in architecting, engineering, and operating a classified secure workstation enclave, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant access to mission-critical systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Hands-on engineering expertise with Active Directory and GPOs for workstation environments
  • Experience supporting secure workstation enclaves
  • Experience supporting maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs), Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) packages, and audit/assessment documentation
  • Familiarity with DoD or Federal cybersecurity frameworks
  • Current and active Top Secret security clearance
  • Must be DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M compliant (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)

  • Hands-on engineering expertise with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the architecture, engineering, and O&M of the classified secure workstation enclave, including Active Directory and GPOs, ensuring enclave integrity, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Lead, systems engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and stakeholders to design, build, configure, and sustain workstation services that meet stringent security and operational requirements.
  • Utilize Active Directory, GPOs, MECM, and core security controls (Identity & Access Management, Configuration/Change Management, Vulnerability Management) to implement and maintain secure, standardized workstation configurations.
  • Review and improve system and process architectures; develop and deliver test plans, technical briefings, and product recommendations.
  • Follow and update engineering procedures, artifacts, and playbooks for the workstation enclave and core security controls.
  • Support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) validation and annual security assessment preparation and execution.
