About The Position

Recognized as one of Montreal's Top Employers (2026), Solotech invites individuals to join its unique story spanning over 45 years. This is a 6-month temporary, seasonal position. Reporting to the department supervisor, the shop technician plays a versatile role in supporting the department’s daily operations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
Requirements
- Able to lift heavy loads
- Show flexibility in his working schedule
- Experience in a warehouse, workshop or factory
- Highly developed organizational skills and meticulousness
- Positive attitude

- Team-work oriented and cooperation spirit
- Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt to changing
Nice To Haves
- AEC or DEC in a relevant audiovisual field
- Experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or on events
- Valid forklift driver’s license
- Master basic French, both oral and written
Responsibilities
- Process returns and prepare the department's cabling according to purchase orders
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Place equipment in the appropriate locations (return and shipping bays, sorting areas, logistics hub) with applicable safety guidelines
- Clean and perform a visual inspection on all equipment
- Follow the quality and preparation standards of the company and/or industry
- All other duties related to the position
