About The Position

This is a 4-month contract position, from June 1 to October 30, 2026. The role involves Monday to Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reporting to the Transportation Optimization Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of packages and equipment to Solotech client event sites. Between assignments, the incumbent supports the warehouse with equipment preparation and performs related tasks assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Montreal and surrounding areas; strong sense of direction.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Strong time management skills, responsiveness, and ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable and resourceful.
• Good physical condition for handling and moving loads.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, deliver, and pick up packages and equipment; organize loading to prevent any damage.
• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods.
• Optimize routes based on traffic and road conditions.
• Maintain professional customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the maintenance and proper use of the service vehicle.
• In the absence of deliveries, support the warehouse with equipment preparation or any other related tasks assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
