About The Position
This course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing. Key areas of emphasis include grammatical accuracy, well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, the preparation of research papers, and the proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises to develop their composition skills. The use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in English.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).
- Ability to complete all mandatory legislated training.
- Must be a Regular Part-Time Professor.

- Teach ENG1100 AF00: Workshop in Essay Writing.
- Provide intensive practice in academic essay writing.

- Assign and evaluate frequent written exercises.
- Develop students' composition skills.
- Ensure students utilize Writing Centre resources outside of regular class hours.
