About The Position
This course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, with an emphasis on grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises and develop their composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours. This posting is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training
- Ability to teach in English
